PRIMASCESA PRODUCTION

Primascesa is a completely independent production. After the first film — Primascesa: La montagna creata dall’uomo (2021) — which enjoyed great success both at festivals and beyond, the professionals involved in that initial project, joined by new collaborators, have devoted their time and energy to this second, more complex and ambitious cinematic work. The storytelling unfolds within the realm of documentary film, yet it experiments and renews itself through independent and professional production methods. Entirely free from traditional production logic, the project has been funded almost entirely by a large group of private supporters — passionate individuals who believe in the project and in a form of storytelling that remains free and independent from market constraints, perhaps still capable of inspiring wonder.
